The race team of Rick House, Larry Johnson, Jim Woudsma and Jeff Cizek, all of Brainerd, Jim Nelson of Fargo, N.D., and Mike Cleary of Bloomington set four world records in the Hayward, Wis., Winterfest 1000-foot snowmobile speed runs last weekend.
Records the team broke include the improved stock 800cc class at 131.20 mph, improved stock 1000cc class at 132.75 mph, superstock 800cc at 135.95 mph and pro stock at 143.77 mph.
House and Cleary are the team drivers; House and Johnson build the engines; House, Nelson and Johnson do the tuning; and the other crew members do chassis work.
The team rides Ski-Doo snowmobiles and is sponsored by Brothers Motorsports, Triangle Oil Co. and Phillips 66, all of Brainerd, and Twin City Auto Body.
