Special Winter Olympians brave cold
More than 200 volunteers, teachers and Special Olympians Thursday gathered at Confidence Learning Center to participate in the 26th annual Winter Olympics.
Schools from Region 5 that participated included Crosby-Ironton, Brainerd High School, Forestview Middle School, Long Prairie, Verndale, Staples-Motley, Walker-Hackensack-Akeley and Mora.
