ONAMIA - John Blomer Jr., 91-year-old resident of Onamia, Minn., passed away on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009, at the Pierz Villa in Pierz, Minn. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 23, 2009, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Onamia, Minn. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Onamia, Minn. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009, at the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Onamia, Minn., and one hour prior to Mass at church on Monday. Arrangements are with the Shelley Funeral Chapel of Onamia.
