McGREGOR - An 11-year-old McGregor boy riding in a vehicle with his parents and five siblings was killed in a one-vehicle rollover Friday on Highway 65 north of McGregor.
According to the State Patrol, the Ford Expedition was southbound on Highway 65 when a northbound vehicle made a quick left turn in front of the vehicle, which swerved to avoid a collision and rolled.
The State Patrol reported that Austin J. Pagan, 11, died at Riverwood Healthcare Center in Aitkin.
The vehicle was driving by his mother, Michelle Pagan, 33, McGregor. Passengers included her husband, Jose Pagan, 35; and their other children, Solomon Pagan, 10; Constance Pagan, 8; Julianna Pagan, 6; Amelia Pagan, 7; and Christian Pagan, 2.
They were all treated for cuts and bruises and were released from Riverside Healthcare Center in Aitkin.
According to the State Patrol, Austin Pagan was the only family member not wearing a seat belt.
The accident was reported at 5:05 p.m. Friday.
