BHS parent information night planned March 2

Brainerd High School will host a parent information night to discuss registration for the 2009-2010 academic year. Meetings will take place at 6:30 p.m. for parents of current ninth-graders and 7:30 p.m. for parents of current 10th- through 11th-grade students March 2 in the BHS cafeteria.

Information will be provided about graduation requirements, appropriate course selection, and the registration process. A video will be shown and a brief explanation of various college-credit earning opportunities will be discussed. Options include: advanced placement (AP), college in the schools (CIS), post-secondary enrollment options (PSEO) and the college level examination program (CLEP).
