Conference honors Mueller, two Flyers
Brainerd's Katherine Mueller and two Little Falls Flyers have been named performers of the week by the Central Lakes Conference for the week ending Feb. 16.
In girls' Nordic skiing, Mueller placed 38th in freestyle, 32nd in classic at the state meet.
In girls' basketball, Little Falls freshman Paige Beseman scored 12 points, had 13 rebounds and four steals to lead the Flyers to their second win.
In boys' Nordic skiing, Phil Prosapio of Little Falls placed 14th at the section meet.
Thompson to speak to boosters club
Brainerd Warriors adapted floor hockey coach Bruce Thompson will be the speaker at the Brainerd Sports Boosters Club meeting, which begins at noon Thursday at the Moose Lodge.
Kelsi Ring, the Warrior Athlete of the Week, will be honored.
