CROSSLAKE -- Kathryn Bernice Trautmann, 72, Crosslake, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2002, at her home.
She was born Nov. 23, 1929, in Dupree, S.D., to John and Ruth Rekstad. She attended high school in Hastings and Northwestern Bible College in Minneapolis. She married James Trautmann on Aug. 17, 1951. They lived in Prairie Du Sac, Wis., and Duluth from 1955-64. They then lived in Rochester until 1993 and moved to Crosslake. She was a member of the Crosslake Evangelical Free Church.
Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Susan Avery, Lincoln, Neb., Ruth Bloomstrom, Lake Ridge, Va., Karin Wessberg, Shoreview, and Beverly Greer, Yucaipa, Calif.; son, David Trautmann, Chanhassen; two sisters, Arlene Conrath, White Bear Lake, and Cecelia Mausolf, Hudson, Wis.; two brothers, Howard Rekstad, Shoreview, and Lloyd Rekstad, Yucaipa, Calif.; and 16 grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Crosslake Evangelical Free Church with the Rev. Richard Turnwall officiating. Burial will be in the Crosslake Cemetery in Crosslake.
Friends may call from noon-2 p.m. Saturday at the church.
Arrangements are with the Thomas-Dennis Funeral Home in Walker.
