ONAMIA -- Lorrie Morgan, who performed to a sold-out house at Grand Casino Mille Lacs last March, is coming back for two shows April 3 and 4 at the Grand Casino Mille Lacs Events & Convention Center.
Both shows will begin at 8 p.m. Tickets for her March 2002 performance at Grand Casino Mille Lacs sold out in one day. Morgan was born in Nashville, Tenn., the youngest daughter of Grand Ole Opry star George Morgan. At age 13, Morgan made her Grand Ole Opry debut and received a standing ovation. In the late 1970s, she drew attention for her recordings of "Two People In Love" and "Tell Me I'm Only Dreaming."
In the mid 1980s, Morgan became a member of the Grand Ole Opry, springing to the top of the country charts with songs such as "Five Minutes" and "I Don't Know My Own Strength."
In the early 1990s, Morgan recorded a Christmas album with the New World Philharmonic Orchestra. Her videos are a mainstay of country music television.
