MOTLEY -- Walter Albert Reyer, 87, Motley, died Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2003, at Greater Staples Care Center.
He was born Jan. 18, 1916, in Motley to John and Ella (Fuls) Reyer. He graduated from high school in Motley. He married Geneva Bode on Feb. 12, 1944, in Twin Valley. He owned and operated a dairy farm near Staples. He moved to Motley in 1977 when he retired. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Motley.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Dianne Reyer, Evergreen, Colo., Janet Hochfeld, Corvalis, Ore., and Nyla Siple, Glendale, Ariz.; a grandchild; and a sister, Edyth Graham, Portland, Ore.
Four brothers, Edward, John, Maynard and William, died earlier.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at United Methodist Church in Motley with the Rev. Richard Collman officiating. Burial will be in Motley Public Cemetery in the spring.
Friends may call an hour before services Friday at the church.
