Keith Weiher (left), Motley, a student in Manufacturing Tool Technology at Central Lakes College, demonstrated a hit-and-miss compression engine he spent 250 hours making. His work impressed Brian Glad (right), a Brainerd High School instructor, whose group of juniors and seniors from BHS were among the 80 guests at Manufacturing and Mechanical Demo Day on the Staples campus of CLC. Groundhog Job Shadow Day on Feb. 6 also paired preps with CLC students as they demonstrated their skills in Communication Art & Design and Photographic Imaging Technology.
