LITTLE FALLS - A bipartisan task force of state representatives and senators will travel to Little Falls for a 9:30 a.m. Friday town hall meeting regarding the state budget deficit. The meeting will be at the Morrison County Government Center.
Attending the meeting will be Rep. Al Doty, DFL-Royalton, vice chair of the Agriculture, Rural Economies, and Veterans Affairs Committee, and Sen. Paul Koering, R-Fort Ripley, ranking minority member of the Senate Health, Housing, and Family Security Committee. Also attending the hearing will be Reps. Alice Hausman, DFL-St. Paul, chair of the Capital Investment Committee; Joe Atkins, DFL-Inver Grove Heights, chair of the Commerce and Labor Committee; Mary Ellen Otremba, DFL-Long Prairie, chair of the Agriculture, Rural Economies, and Veterans Affairs Committee; Steve Gottwalt, R-St. Cloud, ranking minority member of the Bioscience and Workforce Development Policy and Oversight Division; Denny McNamara, R-Hastings, ranking minority member of the Environment Policy and Oversight Committee; and Dan Severson, R-Sauk Rapids, minority whip.
