CLC child care conference draws more than 300 people

The 14th North Central Minnesota Child Care Conference held Feb. 7 at Central Lakes College was one of the largest, with more than 300 child-care providers attending.

Participants from as far as Fergus Falls met for a day of workshops in Brainerd.

Robin Silverman delivered the keynote address, "Everyone's A Winner in Child Care," as she provided tools for the creation of a climate of mutual respect and support among child-care personnel, clients, children, parents and the media.
