Three Little Falls gymnasts advance to state meet

DETROIT LAKES -- Three Little Falls gymnasts qualified for the state meet Saturday as the Flyers finished third with 133.15 points in the Section 8, Class 1A gymnastics meet.

The Flyers' state contingent will consist of Shae Tabatt and Beth Prokott on the uneven parallel bars and Colleen Roach on balance beam.

"It's been a great season and we look forward to finishing down at the state competition," said Flyers coach Shelley LaBlanc.

Wadena-Deer Creek/Staples-Motley/Verndale placed sixth with 125.0 points but will not send any competitors to state.
