WADENA -- Junior Andrew Stearns scored his 100th career point to help the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines boys' hockey team defeat the Little Falls Flyers 6-5 in non-conference play Thursday.
Despite a 2-0 lead at the end of the first period, the Wolverines rallied to tie the Flyers 3-3 in the second. Goals by Jeff Metzdorff, Josh Schumacher and Jason Merickel in the third led the Wolverines to victory.
