ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) -- Mark Carlson's third-period goal lifted Minnesota-Duluth to a 2-2 tie with Alaska Anchorage Friday night in Western Collegiate Hockey Association action.
The tie extended Alaska Anchorage's winless streak to 20, the longest in Division I hockey this season; Minnesota Duluth remained winless on the road in the WCHA and winless in its last eight games.
Pete Talafous' fired in a rebound off the net post at 15:13 of the first period to give Alaska Anchorage a 1-0 lead.
The Bulldogs (5-22-4, 2-18-3 WCHA) tied the score at 10:23 of the second period when Mark Gunderson scored with the teams playing four-on-four.
The Seawolves (5-20-4, 3-18-4 WCHA) regained the lead later in the second period when Reggie Simon took a crisp pass from Talafous in front of the net and scored at 19:37.
Carlson's goal at 12:04 of the third period knotted the score again. The teams played a scoreless five-minute overtime period.
Goalie Rob Anderson stopped 32 shots for the Bulldogs. Chris King had 17 saves for Alaska Anchorage.
