Delbert R. Stoe, 72, Brainerd, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2002, at Bethany Good Samaritan Village in Brainerd.
He was born March 27, 1929, in Roseau to Ole and Alma (Hellsvig) Stoe. He moved to Brainerd in 1955. He married Beverly M. Stardig on Jan. 21, 1955, in Brainerd. He served in the U.S. Navy. He worked for Potlatch Corp. for many years, retiring in 1991. He was a member of the Brainerd Church of the Nazarene and the Potlatch Quarter Century Club.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jon Stoe, Elk River, and Michael Stoe, Baxter; three daughters, Patricia Nelson, Brainerd, Pamela Thramer, Roseau, and Debra Kleven, Alvarado; four brothers, Anfin Stoe, Reuben Stoe and Henry Stoe, all of Roseau, and Raymond Stoe, Lino Lakes; three sisters, Delores Johnson, Roseau, Mary Bottom, St. Paul, and Vivian Lee, Mound; and 13 grandchildren.
His parents, two sisters and a granddaughter died earlier.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Brainerd Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Michael Lynch officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in rural Brainerd.
Friends may call from 2-5 p.m. today at Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home in Brainerd and one hour before services at the church Monday.
