The following students have been named to the dean's list at Iowa State University: Sarah Benson, Brainerd; Lucas Burlingame, Little Falls; and Katie Sczublewski, Pierz.

The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point has named Jesse Young, Little Falls, to the winter honors list.

Lisa (Stephan) Brown, formerly of Pine River, was named to the fall 2009 dean's list at Ashford University in Clinton, Iowa. Brown, who is double majoring in psychology and social and criminal justice, will complete her degree on March 15.

Leigh C. zumBrunnen, a student in the Nuclear Medicine Technology program at SCSU, has received a grant of $1,000 from the P.E.O. Program for Continuing Education. The daughter of Jeannine and Rick zumBrunnen of Baxter, she was sponsored for the grant by P.E.O. Chapter CJ of Brainerd.

Maxwell T. Kuehn, son of Martha and Carter Kuehn, Brainerd, was named to the dean's list for the fall quarter at the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences at Northwestern University, Evanston, Ill.

Carissa M. Steuck, daughter of Jeff and Deb Steuck, Deerwood, and granddaughter of Wally Steuck, Crosby, was named to the dean's honor list at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul.

Ginny Mueller was named to the fall semester dean's list at the University of Montana.

Mayville State University has named Tyler Wekseth, Brainerd, to the dean's list for fall semester.
