NISSWA -- Alexandra (Ali) Meyer, the daughter of Heather and Joel Meyer, was named Miss Nisswa of 2005 Friday at Lutheran Church of the Cross in Nisswa in the Winter Jubilee Miss Nisswa Scholarship Pageant.
Meyer is involved in Kixters, student council and Class Cabinet. She also has helped with choreography for the past six years for the Little Miss Nisswa pageant.
Sarah Gervais was named First Princess, Ally Hartje was named Second Princess and Laura Zard was named Miss Congeniality.
Soraya Hills was named the essay winner, Alexandra Meyer was named the interview winner and Samantha Meier was named Little Miss Nisswa 2005.

The Miss Nisswa Scholarship Pageant was coordinated by the Nisswa Area Women of Today. The chairperson was Penny Stumvoll.
Snow Sculpture winner results were for adults: First place was Ant Town by Matt Best and Andy Badgerow; second, Large Fish with Bobber by Keith Diedericks; third, Large Turtle by Mary Groe; fourth, Three People by Aaron Tweed and Mike Qualey; and Honorable Mention was Sponge Bob by Mike Hatrick.
Snow Sculpture winner results were for youth: First place was Overlooking the City by Andrew Lewis and Wes Compton; second, Nisswa Activities by Teddy Dullum; third, Twin Towers by Hannah Zimmerman, Matt Blanch, Kristine Blanch and Calab Bermel; and fourth, Fish by Ashley Zimmerman and Shaona Best.
