LITTLE FALLS -- Lloyd Pugh, 94, Little Falls, formerly of Randall, died Thursday, Feb. 13, 2003, at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls.
He was born April 9, 1908, in Ceresco Township to Watkin and Jenny (Anderson) Pugh. In 1914, he moved with his family to Morrison County. He lived in the Lincoln and Randall areas. He entered the Army on June 4, 1942, and served during World War II in Italy. He was discharged on Nov. 19, 1945. Decorations received during his military service included the Good Conduct Medal 45, the European African Middle Eastern Theater Service Medal and five overseas service bars. He married Lucille Ritterbusch on Nov. 19, 1948, and they later separated. Following his military service, he moved back to Morrison County and farmed in Scandia Valley Township. He worked for a short time for Northern Pacific Railroad and then at Camp Ripley in the maintenance area until his retirement. After his retirement, he helped various farmers in the Randall area. He was a member of the Randall VFW Post No. 9073.
Survivors include his nieces and nephews.
Two brothers, David and John, died earlier.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls. Burial will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery with military honors provided by the Randall VFW Post No. 9073.
Friends may call an hour before services Tuesday at the funeral chapel.
