ST. PAUL -- State Rep. Dale Walz, R-Brainerd, is a co-sponsor of legislation that would reform and expand long-term care services for senior citizens.
The bill is SeniorCare: Community Care Options for Older Adults and carries bipartisan support in the Minnesota Legislature, according to Walz's news release.
SeniorCare would expand care and living choices for older adults in Minnesota. It would promote more community-based services, giving senior citizens more opportunities to live longer in their own homes, Walz said. The legislation also would create new options in assisted living and nursing home care.
