BAXTER - The Crow Wing County Passenger Safety Coalition is sponsoring a child car seat clinic from 4-7 p.m. Feb. 23 in Baxter at Mills GM Service Center near Fleet Farm. The last appointment time will start at 6:30 p.m. The free clinic is by appointment only, no drop-ins. Trained car seat technicians and practitioners will check vehicles and child car seats for correct size and fit for your child's safety and for compliance with the law. Information about current child car seats and laws will be handed out during the appointment. Parents should allow about a half-hour for the car seat check to be completed. CPS Instructor Josh Duda is in charge of the event and will be on site.
The Crow Wing County Passenger Safety Coalition is a not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to making roads in the Brainerd lakes area safer for everyone.
