PILLAGER - Taylor Sheley scored 19 points and Naomi Anderson 14 to lead the Pine River-Backus Tigers to their fourth straight win as they defeated the Pillager Huskies 51-38 in non-conference girls' basketball Monday.

Megan Carlson scored 13 points and grabbed eight rebounds and Amy Fredman scored 11 points for the Huskies who have now lost 11 of their last 12 games.

PIERZ - Kristin Sczublewski scored 18 points and handed out eight assists for the Pierz Pioneers as they defeated the Holdingford Huskers 54-48 in Central Minnesota Conference girls' basketball Monday.

Katie Kimman added 13 points and eight rebounds and Gabrielle Boser added 15 points, nine rebounds and four steals for the Pioneers as they upped their conference record to 6-5 and their overall mark to 14-8.

HILL CITY - Katie Olson and Sara Hoge scored nine points apiece for the Aitkin Gobblers as they dropped a non-conference girls' basketball game to the Hill City Hornets 45-33 Monday.

Olson pulled down eight rebounds for the Gobblers as they dropped to 9-12 on the season.
