Home Stretch, a first-time homebuyer education class, will be offered March 10, 17 and 24 in Brainerd.
The workshop is by the Central Minnesota Housing Partnership, a private nonprofit organization working to provide safe, decent and affordable housing throughout the state's central region.
The class provides information on the mortgage approval process, budget and credit issues, real estate, closing procedures and basic home maintenance. The information is made available by a joint effort of area lenders, real estate professionals and other housing professionals who cover the topics in class.
The class is designed to give first-time homebuyers confidence throughout the home-buying process, as well as save them time and money. Affordable lending products are also discussed during class. The education classes are offered in Brainerd five to six times a year.
Registration is required. For more information, call the CMHP at (320) 259-0393.
