THIEF RIVER FALLS - The Central Lakes College Raiders shot 51.2 percent from the field, 68.8 percent at the foul line, for a 58-50 North Division victory over the Northland Pioneers on Wednesday.
Bam Glover led the Raiders with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Quentin Wilford added 13 points as CLC improved to 10-1 in the division, 19-4 overall.
"They wanted to play a half-court game," Raiders coach Jim Russell said of Northland. "I was proud of our guys. We didn't take any bad shots. We shot 51 percent from the field. That says a lot, especially being on the road. We didn't take a whole lot of threes and we did OK at the free throw line."
