Class set to offer tips in organizing photographs

Posted: Wednesday, February 12, 2003

Taking photographs is easy, but what do you do with them once they are developed? Many people throw them into boxes or trunks with the intention of organizing and labeling them someday. Somehow, someday never comes, until now. The Morrison County Historical Society is offering a photo labeling and storage class on Feb. 22. The class will cover the basics in archival storing of photos and proper labeling procedures. Shortcuts in labeling will be discussed for those who simply don't have time to label every photograph in their collections.

The class will be 10 a.m. until noon at the Charles A. Weyerhaeuser Memorial Museum in Little Falls. Cost of the class is $5 per person.
