The public is invited to an open house at the new TCC Child Care Center at 501 LeMieur St. in Little Falls.

The open house will be 2-6 p.m. Friday. The center will open March 4 and is part of the TCC's facility serving children and families in Morrison County.

The open house will include a tour of the facility, door prizes, refreshments and opportunities to ask questions about child care. Staff will be on hand to provide enrollment information.

TCC Child Care Center is licensed for 42 children and has openings for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Hours will be from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Tri-County Community Action Program Inc. is a 36-year-old private non-profit corporation serving Morrison, Crow Wing and Todd counties. TCC's mission is to work with community partners to create opportunities for self-sufficiency.

Daffodil Days coming

Individuals and businesses in Crow Wing County can bring cheer to local cancer patients by donating a Gift of Hope bouquet as part of the American Cancer Society's annual Daffodil Days March 11-17.

Daffodils are the American Cancer Society's symbol of hope in the fight against cancer. A donation of $15 for each Gift of Hope bouquet helps the American Cancer Society fight cancer through research, education, advocacy and services for cancer patients and their families.
