The city of Riverton has been awarded a Small Cities Development Program grant in the amount of $127,500. The award is for a water storage tank and a well replacement, according to an announcement by Rep. John Ward, DFL-Brainerd.
Ward said the program is vital to communities in outstate Minnesota, providing them with additional resources to address infrastructure improvements, rehabilitation and revitalization of downtown commercial districts and residential neighborhoods.
