Eastman leads Pillager in Target Center victory

MINNEAPOLIS - Jake Eastman's 18 points led five Pillager players in double figures as the Huskies' boys' basketball team took down Hill City 79-59 Saturday at the Target Center.

Luke Nelson scored 17 points, Jake Martin and Tyler Holbrook each added 10 and Josh Rardin recorded a double-double with 10 points and 14 rebounds for Pillager.

PINE RIVER - Jon Bristow scored 21 points and grabbed 13 rebounds as the Pine River-Backus boys' basketball team beat Northome Kelliher 69-52 Saturday.

Jordan Farmer added 16 points for the Tigers. Dylan Rice dished out seven assists and grabbed seven rebounds for PR-B.
