The Morrison County Sheriff's Department is investigating whether a 19-year-old Swanville Township man was shot while snowblowing his driveway.
Shortly before midnight Tuesday, the sheriff's office received a 911 call from a residence in Swanville Township from a woman who said her 19-year-old son had been shot.
Deputies responded to the scene and learned the man, Jeffrey Troy Walker, had gone outside, started a snowblower and was preparing to clear snow when he felt a pain in his side. At that point Walker discovered a small hole in his side caused by a penetrating object. He also looked up and noticed a small bluish-green car driving by the road in front of his house at the same time. According to the victim, he believes that somebody inside the vehicle shot him, the sheriff's office said.
Walker was transported by ambulance to St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls where he was listed Wednesday in good condition. The sheriff's office is continuing to investigate the incident.
