Mrs. J.J. Madden, more widely known as Kitty Gordon, of Gull Lake died at St. Joseph's hospital after a three-month illness from heart disease. Kitty came to fame in these parts from her stories of success on Broadway and vaudeville stages.

Earl Koop, who has been ill at St. Joseph's hospital with typhoid fever, was taken home today. He worried so because he wanted to be home before his brother Will was buried, his brother having died of typhoid fever yesterday.
