Because of incorrect information supplied to the Dispatch, the number of dates the Franklin Arts Center auditorium was leased last year, as reported in a Page 6A story in Tuesday's paper, was incorrect.
The auditorium was leased 63 times during the 2008-09 school year. Of those dates, the biggest users were the Journey North Community Church, leasing it 51 times, and the Geritol Frolics, which had eight performances last year. Geritol Frolics also rehearsed in the auditorium from August through October, according to Brainerd Community Education.
Other auditorium users last year included Heart and Soul Studio for three times, the Global Day of Prayer once and Great River Strings once. Including the two Geritol Frolic Saturday performances, the auditorium was used a total of four times on Saturdays.
In a Page 1A story Jan. 29 about biodiesel mandates affecting Minnesota school buses, it should have noted that several Twin Cities schools, as mentioned in a Star Tribune story, had problems with stalled buses and clogged filters due to gelling problems last year, not in January.
The Dispatch regrets the errors.
