Oberstar, Doty to be at Morrison DFL convention

LITTLE FALLS - Morrison County Democrats will gather at Little Falls Middle School on Feb. 20 for their county party convention.
Political guests at the Feb. 20 convention will include state Rep. Al Doty, DFL-Royalton; U.S. Rep. Jim Oberstar, D-Minn.; Senate District 12 Senate candidates as well as gubernatorial candidates.
Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. and the convention officially begins at 10 a.m. At that time, the delegates elected at the Feb. 2 caucus will elect the party's county officers and board members. They will then choose delegates for the state and congressional district conventions. Resolutions will be chosen to forward to the State DFL office in St. Paul for consideration at the State Convention in Duluth.
