Brainerd bus slides in ditch; no one injured

FEBRUARY 9 - 60 years ago (1949) - Construction of a drive-in theatre at an approximate cost of $100,000 just off Highway 371 on Hartley Lake, seven miles north of Brainerd, was announced today. It will sit on 75 acres of land and can accommodate 500 cars.

He grew up in Richfield, Minn., was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Minneapolis, active in the Boy Scouts, champion high school wrestler for Richfield High School.
