WALKER - Michael Arthur Dallaire, 28, Brainerd, was sentenced Monday in Cass County District Court by Judge David Harrington for felony second-degree controlled substance crime (sale) to 48 months prison.
He is the second man sentenced in connection with the September 2005 drug-related death of Dennis Hedman, 36, Lake Shore.
In November, Harrington sentenced Dana Alan Uhrich, 26, Nisswa, for felony second-degree controlled substance crime (sale) to one year jail, fined him $1,000 and placed him on 10 years supervised probation.
At their sentencing hearings, the judge dismissed felony third-degree murder charges filed against Dallaire and Uhrich. He ordered them to pay $1,386 restitution.
WALKER - The following appeared recently in Cass County District Court:
Ryan Allen James Butcher, 20, Deer River, formerly of Walker, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor criminal vehicular operation resulting in bodily harm to 90 days jail, fined $1,000 and placed on two years supervised probation.
Daryl Norbert Rudquist, 61, Pine River, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor fifth-degree criminal sexual conduct to 90 days electronic home monitoring with credit for six days already served and placed on two years supervised probation. The judge withheld adjudication on a felony terroristic threats count and placed him on five years supervised probation.
Gary William Mork, 51, Backus, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor fifth-degree domestic assault to 90 days jail.
