Paul A. West
Paul A. West, age 74, of Brainerd died Feb. 7, 2010, at his residence. He was born on December 8,1935, in Spring Vale, Minn., to August and Ida (Chilstrom) West. He was a retired employee of Ford Motor Co. with 36 years of service. He was a member of the UAW Union Local 879.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine; one son Randy (Laura) West of Ramsey and two daughters, Susan (Michael) Heglund of Deerwood and Kim Ellis of Crosby; one brother, Wheeler (Delores) West of Cambridge, three sisters, Fern (Frank) Hellman of Andover, Florance Olson of Coon Rapids, and Alzina (Bud) Johnson of Coon Rapids. He is preceded in death by two sisters, Mabel Peterson Larson, Agnes Wallin; infant sister, Florance V. West; three brothers, Russell, Melvin and Arthur West.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Woodland Good Samaritan Chapel in Brainerd.
Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Woodland Good Samaritan.
