Firefighters respond

The Brainerd Fire Department were called at 11:35 a.m. Sunday to 7152 Excelsior Road to check on a carbon monoxide alarm.
Firefighters also responded to a call at 3:06 p.m. Saturday at Garfield Elementary School to what turned out to be a false alarm.
