I want to thank the Dispatch for the recent article on the cost savings available by outsourcing school functions that don't need to be handled on site. That information should be of interest to our school board as they work through their options to keep as many classroom instructors as possible. In these tough times creative solutions need to be considered for the good of the students.
Whoopie!
Thanks, BHS. Now that you don't have construction, marketing and family science as electives, I'll just go to college and spend Mommy and Daddy's money until I figure out what I want to do. (Kids used to do that in high school). Whoopie!
Hey, BHS, where did you go?
You used to know the value of our programs. Now you're cutting some that have been serving the community for 50 years. You used to value those who touched children's lives. Now you're firing them. (But let's not touch the top-heavy part of the organization.). You used to listen to the community. Now you don't. (That's why you didn't get the referendum.). Stop making a Harvard or Yale of the north. Get to know the people you serve, not just those at your fancy presentations. We aren't given a safe place to speak out but we have voting power.
