CLC Foundation awards $192,000 in scholarships
The Central Lakes College Foundation has awarded $192,000 in scholarships to CLC students for the 2003-04 academic year.

Accidents
One person was injured in a single-vehicle rollover Sunday on Highway 6, two miles north of Highway 18. 6:10 p.m., the State Patrol reported. The driver, Crystal Raudabaugh, 48, Crosby, was treated at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby and released.

CROSSLAKE -- Crosslake and Ideal fire departments responded to a structure fire about 11:20 a.m. on Saturday on Crow Wing County Road 16 in Crosslake.

LITTLE FALLS -- Donald Ploof, 75, a resident of Little Falls, died Sunday, Feb. 8, 2004, at the VA Hospital in St. Cloud. Funeral arrangements are pending with the Brenny Funeral Home, West Chapel, in Little Falls.

AITKIN -- Dorothy Boyd, age 85, of Aitkin, died on Friday, Feb. 6, 2004, at the Cuyuna Health Care Center in Crosby. She was born on July 18, 1918, in Hazelton Township, Aitkin County, to Ernest and Irene (Tool) Woodrow. She attended Butts School and graduated from Aitkin High School in 1935.

PINE RIVER -- Ardell Hall, age 76, Pine River, died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004, at her home. Services will be Thursday, Feb. 12, 2004, at 2 p.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Pequot Lakes with the Rev. David Stevens officiating. The relatives will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.

LITTLE FALLS -- Charles "Chuck" Rogers, 61 year old resident of rural Little Falls, Minn., formerly of Anoka, Minn., passed away Friday, Feb. 6, 2004, at his home in rural Little Falls. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2004, at Bethel Lutheran Church in Little Falls.

MINNEAPOLIS -- Marlys M. Meyer Lange, age 80, of Minneapolis, formerly of Crosby and Hill City, died on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004, at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park. She was born on May 30, 1923, in Minneapolis to Charles Frank and Clara (Horak) Laffin.
