Raiders sweep Vermilion

The Central Lakes Raiders outscored Vermilion 14-3 during the extra period for a 73-62 overtime win during Northern Division play Saturday at CLC.

Sophomores Cassie Pearson and Carissa Utsch led the Raiders. Pearson pounded out 18 points and 14 rebounds and Utsch knocked down three 3s, finishing with 13 points, seven rebounds and four assists.

Five players reached double figures for the Raiders including Trisha Wippler with 15, Brittany Gravelle 12 and Alicia Johnson 10.

The Raiders completed the season sweep over Vermillion and have now won four of their last five.
