LF's Bjorge comes up big - twice

LITTLE FALLS - Austin Bjorge's overtime goal lifted the Little Falls Flyers to a 5-4 non-conference victory over Detroit Lakes Saturday.

It was Bjorge's goal at the 9:39 mark of the third period tied the game at four.

The Flyers defense held Detroit Lakes to 18 shots and Michael Stumpf made 14 saves in net for Little Falls.

Matt Stumpf, Mitch Lundeen and Joey Hanowski had the other Little Falls goals.

Northern Lakes 3, Greenway 2

COLERAINE - The Northern Lakes Lightning got three goals from three different players leading to Saturday's 3-2 non-conference victory ove Greenway.

Jake Box scored the game's first goal in the second period on an assist from Alex Fitch. Connor Chambers followed three minutes later with an unassisted goal.

Collin Burke's third period goal at the 12:24 mark on an assist from Tyler Heinlen gave the Lightning the lead for good.

Joey Bergquist collected 30 saves for Northern Lakes, which has now won four straight.
