The Dispatch incorrectly paraphrased comments made by Court Administrator Amy Turnquist in a story on Page 7A in Wednesday's paper. Turnquist said the Ninth Judicial District stands fourth in line statewide for an additional judge. Turnquist said she hoped the Legislature would approve at least four of the nine new judges being sought in this legislative session.
The number of counties in the 17-county Ninth Judicial District was also listed incorrectly.
The Dispatch regrets the errors.
