Drinking water samples to be taken in Pine River, Pierz, Randall

The Minnesota Department of Health and the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency will sample drinking water supplies at sites at three area communities: Pierz, Pine River and Randall. The sampling is being done where it's possible the use of firefighting foams has resulted in perfluorochemicals seeping into to the ground.
As results of sampling from wells, soil and groundwater become available in the spring and summer they will be listed on Minnesota Department of Health and Minnesota Pollution Control Agency Web sites.
