Four people suffer minor injuries

LITTLE FALLS -- Four people suffered minor injuries after a sports utility vehicle struck a Morrison County Sheriff's Department squad car parked on the road's shoulder, the State Patrol reported.

The crash was reported at 7:27 a.m. Friday on Highway 10 at the junction of Morrison County Road 35 south of Little Falls. Deputy Daniel Eastvold, 48, was writing a property damage report when the vehicle was struck. He had two passengers in the squad car.

Eastvold and passengers Jason Walsh, 20, and James Bonebrake, 24, and the driver of the second vehicle, Julie Hines, 25, all of Little Falls, suffered minor injuries and were treated and then released at St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls.
