Fires

Saturday morning the Brainerd Fire department responded to a car fire on Highway 25 South. The car, owned by Annette Dahl, had an estimated $1,200 in damage. The fire was attributed to an unknown engine problem.

The fire department also responded to a fire Sunday afternoon at the Brainerd Regional Human Services Center. The fire, which was located in laundry carts in the garage area, caused an estimated $2,000 in damage. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the state fire marshal's office.
