FLAG PRESENTATION

Tom Lund (left) and Dale Walz accepted an American flag, which flew Dec. 22 inside a C-130 Hercules plane originating from Balad Air Force base in Iraq, on Friday at Walz's home from Tech. Sgt. William Patterson.

The flag was signed by the crew members before they flew a combat mission around Balad.

Patterson, a Brainerd native, gave the flag to Lund and Walz for their work providing firearms safety and for their support of the Second Amendment to the Constitution.
