LITTLE FALLS -- Sarah Kallis hit five three-point baskets, finishing with 18 points, to help push the Little Falls Flyers girls' basketball team past the Brainerd Warriors 47-39 in a Central Lakes Conference matchup Thursday.

Michelle Niemen had eight points and seven assists for the Flyers. Teammate Ashley Luberts grabbed seven rebounds as the Flyers won for only the second time in 10 conference games.

The Warriors were led by Megan Arns with 10 points and Erica Nelson's nine. Brainerd shot 24 percent from the field, 47 percent at the foul line.

"If you can't score, you can't win, that's the bottom line," Warriors coach Carl Hendrickson said. "We rebounded well but if you don't knock them down when you've got open shots you're not going to win."
