BHS girls hockey seeded seventh in Section 8-2A

The Brainerd Warrior girls' hockey team has been seeded seventh and will play the No. 2 Moorhead Spuds at Moorhead Youth Arena at 7 p.m. Saturday in the quarterfinals of the Section 8-2A tournament.
The tournament opens Thursday when No. 9 Sauk Rapids plays at No. 8 River Lakes. That winner will play at No. 1 Elk River at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Other 7 p.m. quarterfinal games Saturday match the No. 5 St. Cloud Icebreakers and No. 4 St. Cloud Tech ad No. 6 North Wright County at No. 3 Bemidji.
Semifinals are 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. Feb. 12 at Alexandria. The final is 7 p.m. Feb. 15 at Alexandria.
