I just don't understand it. Santana $137 million, Mauer $80 million. The other one, I can't remember his name, $24 million. These people can't build their own stadiums? Why? There is no one, in any profession, anywhere in the world, that is worth more than $20 an hour. No doctor, lawyer, sports person. No one. That's the problem in our country. We overpay. Let's get back to reality.
Our greatest assetbr>
Sen. Koering says that "we never hear us talk about our greatest asset"- children! What is he talking about? Every year education funding, school policies, test scores, school issues are debated. Children's health care, child protection laws, early childhood education, busing, housing, to name a few, are discussed, debated and voted on. Senator, either you're not listening, or have selective hearing like the rest of your metro Republican legislators (and governor) or you choose to ignore the problem. Stop passing the buck, senator, and get the funding problem corrected or you need to be replaced soon.
No more referendums
Now I see Walker-Hackensack-Akeley School District is trying to push another referendum through. We voted it down. We spoke. Now live with it and please run the schools fiscally responsible like a business. There should be a law that they cannot keep shoving these things down our throats.
