Kari Schinn and Patrick Heikkenen were married June 5, 2004, in the Grand Superior Lodge in Two Harbors.
Parents are Greg and Bev Schinn, Duluth, and Susan McDonald, Stillwater, and the late Curtis Heikkenen.
The bride's attendants were Tracy Larson-Udee, Melissa Olson and Heather Cotter.
The groom's attendants were Erik Heikkenen, Adam Extrand and Steve Gohl.
The bride graduated from Duluth Denfield High School, College of St. Scholastica and St. Mary's University. She is a first-grade teacher in the Anoka-Hennepin Public School District in Andover.
The groom graduated from Brainerd High School, St. Cloud State University and St. Mary's University. He is a fourth-grade teacher for the Elk River Public School District in Zimmerman.
