Shanda Ament has joined the team at the Fine Line Salon and Spa as a nail technician.
Ament specializes in acrylic nails, nail art, manicures and pedicures.
Ament is a graduate of the Model college of Hair design in St. Cloud.
Fischer recognized
Rich Fischer, Pierz, was recognized for his outstanding contributions to forage production, promotion and service by the Minnesota Forage and Grassland Council during an awards program at the 25th Annual Minnesota Forage Conference held Jan. 25 at the Grand Casino in Hinckley.
Fischer was recognized for his outstanding forage practices on his farm near Pierz. He was also recognized for his many leadership positions with the North Central Forage and Grassland council and his excellent leadership given to the Minnesota Alfalfa and Forage Expo when it was held in Little Falls in 1997 and 1998.
The Minnesota Forage and Grassland Council was organized in 1975 to encourage more efficient, profitable production and use of Minnesota's eight million acres of forage crops.
Oelke joins Fine Line
Megan Oelke has been hired by the Fine Line Salon and Spa.
Oelke is a certified massage therapist specializing in therapeutic relaxations massage in a full salon and spa atmosphere.
Oelke was formerly employed at Markus Hair Design and Day Spa.
Qualley named law partner
Steven Qualley has become a partner of the law firm of Gammello & Sandelin, P.A.
The name of the firm has been changed to Gammello, Sandelin & Qualley, P.A. Offices are located in Pequot Lakes and Brainerd.
